Heather retired in 2012 after a long career with the Simcoe County CAS. Over the past three years, she has begun acting as a consultation to child welfare organizations. Heather joined the board of HTH in 2013.
Jacquie CFP, R.F.P, BA, is an experienced financial planner. She has owned and operated Premier Financial Planning Services in Midland since 1992. Jacquie supports HTH through her vast expertise in business and finance.
Annabelle retired in 2009 after 27 years as administrative assistant in the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation. She joined the HTH board in 2010. Currently her and her partner of 50 years own and operate a small grass cutting business during the summer. Annabelle likes to crochet and read and is known for spotting typographical errors.
Elke is a retired office manager from a busy litigation law firm. Retirement however has kept her busy through her volunteer work, additional to her role as a Board member for HTH, Elke is an active congregant and committee member of Knox Presbyterian Church, and the chairperson of the Lakeview Cemetery Board.
Lorraine has a BA in social development, and worked as a registered nurse for 46 years. Working to help people has been her life-long passion. Aside from her position as a Board member with HTH, Lorraine also volunteers by serving meals at the Guesthouse.
Dr. Barbara Ann Chidiac
Dr. Chidiac received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1985. Since that time she has opened and successfully operated Chidiac Animal Hospital, which has now expanded to two locations. Barbara Ann joined our Board in 2012.
Samantha has a Master’s degree in Public Health and is currently employed by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto, as a Youth Engagement Coordinator. She is committed to ensuring women in our community are supported based on their individual needs.
Louise is retired after a lengthy career with Canada Immigration/ Canada Border Services Agency. During which time she developed policy, programs and procedures on migration issues including human trafficking and immigrant settlement. Louise has extensive experience in administrative hearings and litigation management. She served 2 terms as an elected board member on the Canadian Council for International Cooperation, and has worked with non -profit organizations involved in sustainable human development.
Kathy MHRM, BA, has been the Executive Director of HTH for over twenty years. In this time she has led the organization, facilitating its growth from operating a single site, single program, to operating multi-site, multi-funded county-wide programs. She is is recognized provincially for her commitment to providing low-barrier service, particularly through the integration of harm reduction.
