Manager of Support

We are seeking a Manager of Support to provide oversight and direction to the programs of Operation Grow; an innovative social enterprise addressing issues related to violence, poverty, food insecurity, and isolation.

The key responsibilities include:
• supervise, coordinate and schedule activities at Operation Grow inclusive of yoga and meditation programming, partner engagement and the drop-in space;
• assist women in establishing and achieving their goals;
• provide grounding to women in crisis and make appropriate referrals for further support;
• promote a healthy, safe and inclusive environment;
• adhere and uphold HTH’s policies, procedures, rules and regulations;
• assist with merchandising and sales in the retail operation;
• program planning and evaluation.

• relevant post-secondary education;
• 3 – 5 years relevant work experience;
• knowledge of the issues and complexities of the impact of violence against women;
• strong counselling and assessment skills;
• crisis intervention and management experience;
• demonstrated leadership ability;
• strong problem-solving skills;
• excellent community and interpersonal skills;
• demonstrable knowledge of intersectional feminism, anti-racism, ant-oppression, violence against women, harm reduction, food sovereignty and poverty reduction.
