We believe that all violence against all women and children must end.

Huronia Transition Homes is a non-profit organization working to end all violence against all women. We began this work in 1984, and now operate four primary programs including: La Maison Rosewood Shelter, Athena’s Sexual Assault Counselling & Advocacy Centre, Choices for Children and Operation Grow.

We are community members who are committed to education and advocacy as a means to end violence. We are also committed to providing shelter, counselling and support to women identified individuals and their children who have experienced abuse.

We work within an intersectional feminist, harm reduction philosophy. We make every attempt to understand women’s diverse life experiences and impact of violence on their lives. It’s through the support of our communities that our work is possible because violence against women affects everyone.
